Fill The GAP Africa CEO Joins Powerhouse Women at PR Summit to Champion Change in Communications

It was a weekend of bold ideas and powerful voices as Ghana’s capital hosted the Empowering Women in PR Summit 2025, drawing together top-tier female leaders and communication experts for two days of inspiration, strategy, and transformation.

Held at the Ghana-India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence from July 4 to 5, the summit gathered a dynamic mix of women in public relations from Ghana and beyond – united under one goal: to empower and equip women to lead with influence in the ever-evolving world of PR.

Among the engaged participants was our very own Madam Akekodaga Vida Kabuga, CEO of Fill The GAP Africa (FTGA), who described the experience as nothing short of transformational. “It was a call to action for women to own their voice, drive meaningful change, and shape narratives that truly reflect our values and visions,” she shared.

The summit featured a series of hard-hitting sessions on topics ranging from strategic storytelling and visibility in media to brand reputation and leadership in crisis. Speakers emphasized the urgent need for women to break through glass ceilings in the communication space and become architects of the narratives shaping society.

With themes of empowerment, visibility, and leadership running strong throughout the event, the message was clear: women in PR are not just part of the conversation – they’re leading it.

As the curtains fell on #WomenInPR2025, one thing was certain – this summit was more than a gathering. It was a movement. And Madam Akekodaga Vida Kabuga was proud to stand at the heart of it.
