Twenty Single, Abandoned, Uemployed Young Mothers Were Given Skill Development   Training In Jamestown, Accra.   

The long awaiting day has finally come to pass. Quantum Total Wellness Foundation  now Fill the Gap Africa team was in Jamestown today on the 22nd September, 2023 to train  20 out of 68  Single, Abandoned Unemployed  Young Mothers In Jamestown,  Accra  on how to make  some  detergents.

The beneficiaries were earlier on guided to choose various skills they will like to develop. These 20 Women opted to learn how to make Shower Gel, Bleach, Dettol and washing shop. We trained them on Shower Gel and Bleach making we will   continue with the rest on our next visit.

There were full of joy , testified with  confidence that the training was successful and so they can now make their own shower Gel and bleach to sell as a source of income for their livelihood. As part of the strategy’s to sustain the project, the items produced were sold immediately at a reduced price by the women to some community members to return the money. The facilitators were Stephen Nkoah and Gertrude Adjei.They first took them through the level of the demand on detergents in the market, attractive packaging   and other marketing strategies to explore when they produce their own to sell.
