Economic Empowerment & Enterprise

Practical business training that turns effort into steady income.

Economic Empowerment & Enterprise

Most women we work with are already working. What they lack is a way to price, plan and protect the income they earn.

The challenge

A trader can run the same stall for fifteen years and never build a buffer. Without records, it is impossible to know which product makes money. Without savings, one hospital bill ends the business. And without collateral, a bank loan is out of reach.

What we do

  • Run practical entrepreneurship training built around each participant's actual business, not a case study.
  • Teach financial literacy: costing, pricing, bookkeeping, separating household and business money.
  • Help participants form savings groups so capital stays inside the community.
  • Connect producers to buyers, including institutional buyers who can order at volume.
  • Provide follow-up coaching for six months after training.

What changes

More than 200 women have completed our financial literacy and business education program. Participants leave with a costed plan, a simple record book and a savings commitment, and they can explain their margins to a lender.

How you can help

Fund a training cohort, sponsor a savings group's starter capital, or offer a market link to a producer group.

Get involved

The gap closes when we move together.

Give, volunteer your expertise, or partner with us on a program. Every contribution is directed by the community it serves.
